Well the cold and snow are finally here. It started last week and it hasn't gone away. We have been in the negatives the entire week. Hurray for coats, scarfs gloves and everything else! 

We have had a great week, here are some updates on our investigators: 

Stanislav – Well, this week was really interesting. I mentioned last week how Stanislavs alram didn't go off so he didn't make it to church. Well that evening we met with him and had a wonderful meeting. He basically taught us the word of wisdom and we haven't even tried to teach it to him yet. He at that point said it is easy for him to reject beer and going to the bar with his friends. He was working on stopping smoking. He was at 12 and when we asked him on friday he said he was down to 3 and by the first he would be completely done. We didn't ever make a plan with him or anything. It is so amazing how much you learn from the spirit when you want to know and accept the truth. Well we were supposed to meet with him multiple times this week, and Satan is doing all he can to stop that. On Monday he was moving and we planned to meet before he moved but things didn't work out that way and he caught a bus before we could. Tuesday we were going to meet and he canceled on us because he is so excited about the changes he is making in his life, he had to go and tell his son all about it and how he is getting baptized. Wednesday was a crazy day and we were already full. Thursday we had an appointment after a doctors appointment. Well that morning we got a text from him saying he was in an ambulance headed to the hospital in Prague. He has a tumor in his stomach and it is worse than they thought. But he wanted us to call him. So we did. We did an appointment over the phone with him. He had some surgery and should be back home tomorrow! We are set up to meet with him and the elders are going to come and give him a blessing. He has another appointment on Thursday to check up on things. But he is reading in the scriptures and sending us quotes and all sorts of great stuff. He is wonderful. He tells us that he can feel our prayers and that he knows God loves him and is there with him. So amazing that a few weeks ago he didn't feel anything or believe a whole lot. THE GOSPEL IS TURE!!! 

Filip- He brought a friend Matous to the lesson so we did the restoration in a different way and it was way good. Matous is willing to try things but is busy with school and getting his drivers permit. 

Marie, Eva, Vera and Viktor – This is a wonderful family, we love teaching them, we never know what is going to happen. Vera (40's) strated out being really interested and Marie (20's) was more whatever and asking crazy off the wall questions. As we have taught more Marie has gotten a lot more interested. She asked us this week if baptism was really necessary. She wondered what the difference was between people who belive and follow Christ, living a good life but aren't baptized and people that are baptized and live that good life. We had just taught the plan of Salvation last time so we went back to that and pointed out it was the difference between the Terrestial Kingdom and the Celestial Kingdom. As we said that she asked well can you help me get baptized? We told her of course and now she is moving right along. We gave her a book of Mormon, she wasn't there when we gave Eva one. When we did so she said, this is stories? Eva, why haven't you given me yours, why haven't you shown me this?! She is really excited to start reading it, actually she is reading it and loves it! It was really funny all throughout our lesson she kept saying, momma. I'm getting baptized! We told her we liked to meet often and gave her a baptismal calander. She said well I will see you at church tomorrow. And I work mornings this week so how about monday at 4? And tuesday and friday at the same time. Why not tuesday and thursday and saturday also? She is so hilarious. Unfortunately they had some problems and couldn't make it to church but they were really excited and really want too. 

Lenka- She is so amazing, we taught her the restoration and the spirit was so strong. She has been taught it a couple of times and doesn't like to be taught the same thing more than once, so we had to really strive to figure out something new. Luckily that isn't hard when you have the spirit as your guide. At the end of the lesson she talked about the strength that was there and how amazing it felt. We pointed out it was the spirit and next lesson taught more about the spirit and how it feels for her. It was great. We love working with her. We don't get to meet this week, she will be gone, we are hoping for sunday still though! She is really good about keeping her commitments and she really understands what she reads. She just doesn't feel like she has ever gotten answers to her prayers. 

Vlastik- We met him at our english class and he really wanted to také us on a vylet. So we got to go with him to the castle and it was great! Afterward we shared a spiritual thought. He told us that we need to go to the museum in town for the castle and wants to také us there too. He also said, call me and we can chat about that book of mormon, you can explain to me what it is. Awesome! 

We stopped by a less actives this week and played some soccer with their oldest son, he is really good! We also taught them a short message about being examples to those around us. While we were there they asked if we could teach their kids english for them and then after we could share a spiritual thought. We now have a weekly meeting! Woot, got to love meeting regularly! 

We got to go and visit a lady who was born in 1919 and has been a member for a long time! Sister Dolenska is such a sweetheart! She has a hard time seeing and a hard time hearing but she still loves the gospel and her testimony is so strong! It is so neat to get to go and visit these awesome members who have sacrificed so much for the gospel! 

We have had a great week, I love serving the Lord. He is so good to us, I am not sure why, I never feel like I do enough to deserve what he gives me, he is so great! Well I am out of time my dear family. I love you so much! Have a wonderful week and know that God will always win, Satan may have little successes along the way but it is nothing. We WILL be meeting with Stanislav this week! Ha ha love you
