Happy 4th of July!‏

No čau! 

This week has been full of miracles! It is neat how you just see the miracles when you are looking for them! Tuesday we had a contacting display and it was really successful. We go out contacting with clipboards and we have a poster that we put up on an eisel and we go out and talk about family history. Before this transfer I hadn't really used the clipboard as my companion always had it with her family information on it. Well I have one this transfer and it has been so much more successful! So many people stop and have interest. This week we got two new investigators from it. They stopped for us and as we talked told us they didn't have any interest in it. But as we continued to talk, we got a lot more into the gosple rather than a focus on family history and they were really interested in that and we exchanged information and moved on to teaching them. So wonderful! 

Thursday night we went on an exchange and I was able to spend Friday with Sister Johnson in Mlada Boleslav. I love that little city! So many amazing people there! It was so fun to teach them and to talk woth them. Sister Johnson is an amazing sister. She is a young one and was called to speak Slovak. She is a transfer behind me and for this transfer she was called across the boarder to the czech side! It was so fun to learn from her teaching and working style. She is such a sweetheart. She is really good at understanding czech! It is impressive, I struggle sometimes with some of her slovak words. Slovak and czech are definitely different languages it is similar but still pretty different. It was so fun! I got to teach a few of the people I used to teach there, so wonderful! 

Jakub, our amazing investigator (Sister Roubickova and I found him outside while doing building tours in the rain and about the time he showed up the wind came up and blew our umbrella inside out, but we still got to him). He is so amazing! He has come to church every week he could since we met him a couple months ago! He loves it. We extended him a baptismal date for the 19 of July and yesterday he was saying that he feels really good when he meets with us and when he is at church, he is just waiting for that same feeling when he reads in the scriptures. He is already in Mosiah and he loves it. He is trying to apply it and asks really good questions about how he can better apply things. He is slowly giving up more and more time to be in meetings and activities we have and it is so wonderful to see him progress. He fasted about the book of mormon with us last week but some how he missed on the no drinking thing. But he wants to fast for church tomorrow and is really excited about it. He is so amazing and so prepared. He told us that he really wants to make the 19 of July but he just isn't sure about the book of mormon. We haven't taught him everything but he is coming along really well. He is amazing and we learn so much from him. He is a strong young man.
